Economic Development
The Economic Development Division serves the City of Marina through a variety of cost effective, timely and professional services regarding business retention, attraction, grant research and writing relating to economic development. In addition, the Economic Development Division Coordinator serves as lead staff for the Economic Development Commission and together develop goals and priority economic development projects for the success of Marina businesses.
The Economic Development Development Division is dedicated to understanding the concerns of Marina's business owners and helping them become successful.
In April 2025, the City completed a Real Estate Market Analysis and Site Assessment. The resulting report provides an overview of the City’s current retail environment, market demand, competitive positioning, and development opportunities. This report can be accessed from the link provided below.
